A Russian Znamya magazine awards a correspondence between Mikhail Khodorkovsky and a Russian Booker Prize winning author Lyudmila Ulitskaya with its GLOBE yearly prize. Znamya published a series of letters between Khodorkovsky and Lyudmila Ulitskaya in its November 2009 issue. The annual prize, which the literary journal has been awarding for more than 20 years, was presented at a ceremony in Moscow on Wednesday.

"We thought "Dialogues with Lyudmila Ulitskaya" was a very serious, a very interesting op-ed piece," Natalya Ivanova, Znamya first deputy chief editor, told RIA Novosti.

The Znamya monthly literature magazine has been published since 1931.
