Yuri Borisov (1956-2007) was a prominent Moscow opera and theater director and music critic. In the course of his lifetime he worked with a number of great Russian musicians. Among others, he was on friendly terms with Sviatoslav Richter. Notes taken during or after conversations with Richter, Borisov has later converted into a book.
