Nadia Guerman was born in 1970 in Moscow, graduated from Moscow Institute of Literature with a degree in Hispanic studies and literary translation in 1996, and resides in her native Moscow.

Nadia is a member of the Russian National League of Translators. Among her published translations are essays by Julio Cortazar, “The Bilingual Lover” and “The Shanghai Spell” novels by Juan Marsé (2001 and 2005), “The Fencing Master” and “The Painter of Battles” novels by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, and Abel Posse’s “Passion according to Evita” novel.

Nadia Guerman is also the author of more than 20 short stories and novelettes published in prestigious Russian literary magazines.
